はじめまして。実行委員のトミーです。またの名を冨川功喬（とみかわあつのぶ）といいます。現在は東京におりますが、出身地はしゃちほこの国、名古屋です。JIL（全国自立生活センター協議会）では事務局員として、ヒューマンケア協会では介助者として働いています。大学生の時分に介助者としてアルバイトを始めてたくさんの素晴らしい経験に触れ、自立生活運動のもつ理念に強く共感して以来、面白く活動を続けています。
2014年に介助者としてアメリカへ渡航しました。初めての海外旅行ということもありましたが、見聞きする様々なことがとても新鮮で、アメリカという国のもつユニークな側面をたくさん体験してきました。人々の挑戦を拒まない、言い換えれば、たくさんの可能性が開いている国だと感じたものです。可能性が開いているということは、面白い経験をするチャンスがたくさんあるということですね。自分から行動しなければそれをつかむこともできない、というタフな側面はもちろんありますが、動きさえすれば見たことも無い景色を見ることができるということだと思います。消極的な自分にとっては、新しい窓を開く鍵がここにあるのではないかと感じるのです。
真剣な話ばかり致しましたし、顔もこんな感じ（公務員顔）なのでマジメに思われることが多いですが、人生の9割はくだらないことを考えて生きてきました。ふざけることが大好きなので、ずっとみんなでおちゃらけていたいなあ、と思っています。
さてもう一枚の写真をご覧下さい。楽器を三つも抱えていますね。難しい撮影です。これを自分一人で撮影するため、夜中に何度もシャッターを切りました。アホですね。しかしこれもアメリカに行ったおかげで、新しいことに挑戦できるようになったわけです。
余談ではありますが、仕事のほかには音楽に対して強く興味があります。みなさん、お酒を飲みながら語らいましょう。大好きなバンドは「はっぴいえんど」です。将来は細野春臣か、みうらじゅんになります。愛するギターはカジノ。鍵盤ハーモニカだって大好きさ。
何はともあれ、こんなに面白いチームで一緒に働けて幸せです。誰もがおもしろおかしく毎日暮らせる世界を、一緒につくりませんか。自立生活運動にはそれができると思います。そしてそれにはあなたの力が欠かせません。一緒に楽しいことをたくさんしましょう。
Hi! I'm Tommy (Atsunobu Tomikawa). I live in TOKYO for 2 years but my home town is NAGOYA which is famous for SHACHIHOKO. I work in Japan Council on Independent Living Centers (JIL) as a secretariat and also work in CIL Humancare Association as a Personal Assistant. When I was student, I got a job for Personal Assistant and I had so many wonderful experience. Because I am in deeply sympathy with the philosophy of Independent Living, I continue to work with a lot of fun!
It was my first time to go to the United States with my user in 2004. The scene/information I got was really fresh. I experienced unique characteristic of America. I think they don’t refuse people’s challenge. In other words, there are so many opportunity for people. Because they have these features, I can gain a lot of experience. I know it is sever in a sense if I don’t be active, I couldn’t get it. But if I do, I could reach the scene which I have never seen. I notice there is the key which can change me in the United States.
By the way, serious talk is just end. People around me think I am “Serious Man” but they misunderstand me. (My face like a public service worker. I think you may have seen my face in public office.) I love to think something senseless. I have spent tremendous time for thinking it in my life. And also I love to joke with my fellow.
And then, could you see second photo which I hold 3 musical instruments? It was very difficult to take a photo. To take it by only myself, I clicked shutter so many times in midnight. It’s really foolish! But my experience from the United States let me realize it!
I am also interested in music. I would like to talk about music over beer with you! One of my favorite group is “HAPPY END”. I will be “Mr. Haruomi Hosono” or “Mr. Jun Miura” in future. My favorite guitar is CASINO (Epiphone). And I love Melodica!
Excuse me! I talked too much. In any case, I am happy man to work with such a special team. Why don’t you change the world as EVERYONE can live with a lot of fun with us?
