私は今年4月から東京都内のCIL（自立生活センター）、STEPえどがわで当事者スタッフとして勤務しています。
そもそもなぜ私がこのプロジェクトに関わったかというと…
2015年7月、世界初の障害者差別禁止法であるADA（障害を持つアメリカ人法）の25周年を記念してワシントンDCで開催された祝賀イベントやカンファレンスに参加するツアー、その名も「ADA25 LEAD ON! TOUR」に参加したことが全ての始まりでした。
当時私は自立生活センターに関わり始めたばかりで、正直言うと障害者運動のことなど全くわからず、ただアメリカに行きたい！というだけで参加しました（すみません^^;）
しかし、そんなゆるい気持ちで参加した私はアメリカの障害者運動、たくさんのリーダーたちの姿を目の当たりにし、大きなカルチャーショックを受けて帰ってきました。
それからというもの、ただひたすらに障害者運動を追い続け、気付いたら今度は私が企画する側になっていました。
知識も経験もまだまだですが、全国のアツイ仲間たちから刺激をもらい、私だからこそ出来ることを頑張っていきたいと思っています！
そんな私の意気込みというか、今回のツアーでどうしてもやりたいことがあります。
それは・・・
ワシントンDCのホワイトハウス前でツアーメンバー全員で集合写真を撮りたい！！！
はい、ホームページのトップ画像にもなっている、あれです。
実は私、あのツアーには参加したのに、写真に写ってないんです・・・・・
今だから言っちゃいますけど、あの時、わたくしトイレに行ってました（爆）
ほんの数分離れた隙にあんな記念すべき写真が撮られていたとは(T_T)
というわけで、今年こそはトイレに行くタイミングを間違えないように気を付けたいと思います（笑）
見た目からはクールに見られることが多いですが、本当は面白いことが大好き！いつも心の中は燃えております。

Hello, everyone! I am Toshiko Kudou and I'm one of the Executives Committe member. I'm working as a stuff at Center for Independent Living "STEO Edogawa".
I got involved in this project is because I attended to "ADA25 LEAD ON! TOUR". The tour was at 2015, Jun, and there had celebrations of 25 years from the world first law for Disabled discrimination started. Also, I had chance to atteded NICL conference.
At that time, I was just got involved to Center for Independent Living and honesty, I didn't know about Disability movement that time. I was thinking it's good chance to go to America.
However, the reason I went to America, I had big culture shock when I saw many leaders and being witness of the American people with disabilities movement.
After I came back from ADA25 tour, I just focused to keep my self on the truck which is disability movement in Japan. And now, when I realized, I am one of the boards of the "ADA27 LEAD ON! YOUTH PROJECT"!
I have low knowledge and experience, but looking forward to get inspire from passionate fellows and do my very best.
Moreover, I have one thin I really wanted to do this time. I want to take group photo by the white house. Yes, as some people already know maybe, but it is the top page of this website!!! When last tour, at that moment, I was in bathroom lol
I was so sad that just few minutes I left the spot, the picture was taken by that timing.
However, so this year, I will try not to miss the timing to go to bathroom :D
In the last, a lot people assume I'm quiet person, but I'm not!! I love to do fun things and I have passion burning from my heart. Can't to wait to go to America.
